Circularity was recorded live off the floor at David MacKinnon's studio in the north end of Hamilton. The recordings have been edited for length, cutting time at the beginning or end of each piece with no other edits within the tracks.

In addition to a traditional recording set-up, a 25’-40’ tape loop was run live through a 1960’s Revox tape deck with its erase head bypassed. Each successive loop cycle recorded on top of the previous loop cycles, creating a constantly building and evolving sonic collage in real time.

Grievous Landscapes is a four-part imagining of the last days of Gram Parsons life and the events immediately following his death. Told through improvised, instrumental guitar and pedal steel, found sounds, digital and analog tape loops, it was recorded live off the floor and augmented with field recordings made in and around Joshua Tree, California.
